And everything is alright.

"Used to be the leader. Now comes the time to serve. Maybe we'll show some mercy, Maybe you'll get what you deserve."-Trent Reznor

Wow. I've been pretty busy these past few weeks. A bit tired and a bit excited for a change.

These past two days have been....interesting.

It's like all my hobbies and interests have all been roled up into one, this past week in particular.
Friends, Comics, Politics, Movies. It's been a pretty packed week.

Mid-terms have been slowing down the progress of my graphic novel but luckily, I'm almost done with all 180 pages. Next, the search for the artist begins.

To my surprise, I've begun working on some new superheroes which are spin offs from my already existing team of super powered, sarcastic crazies. It's looking pretty good so far too. It reminds me of the sixth grade when I originally created my first and everlasting heroes.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand, things are going pretty....VERY well.

I'm getting ready for film school (Writing two new scripts on top of the graphic novel.), I've been paying close attention to the primaries too.

I haven't been this involved and excited in politics since my man, Kerry was running back in 2004 (Too bad it didn't work out.).

I had a pretty fun time yesterday, wooing my new love interest, Evette (Sooooo gorgeous.), with a poem. (I'm doing the whole mysterious thing....she likes it so far. I got a good response.)

Anyway, I had a pretty good time at the movies these past couple of weeks too. Cloverfield, Rambo, U23D and "The Eye" were all fantastic. It's been a great start for this year's PACKED movie schedule.

I was reading up on the progress of Terminator 4 (Yep. It comes out next year, people!) yesterday then I did some research on John Connor and I was pretty fascinated with the way he faked his death in the future and ended up blowing up the shit out of Skynet's central core and won the war.

Probably the most important thing that I learned this whole year so far is that NIN's 'Meet Your Master' is actually a sequel to (My all time favorite NIN song.) 'Head like a Hole'. It was ironic because I always found a connection between the albums, "Pretty Hate Machine" and "Year Zero" and now I know why.

In 'Head like a Hole' you hear: "Bow down before the one you serve, your going to get what you deserve."

In 'Meet Your Master' you hear: "Used to be the leader. Now comes the time to serve. Maybe we'll have some mercy, Maybe you'll get what you deserve."

I swear, my hero, Reznor is a genius.

I finally saw "Let's go to Prison," and I'm still cracking up.

I've been watching some really 80's-ish movies latley too. The Lost Boys, The Breakfast Club, The Flamingo Kid and OF COURSE....Red Dawn (That movie is just simply....gorgeous.)

I wrote a few articles the past few weeks: Punisher: War Zone, G.I.Joe and Superman: The Man of Steel.

So as you can see, I've been REALLY busy and I need some serious sleep but I'll tell you one thing and one thing only....It's the best feeling ever to turn dreams into realities.

Now one question before I go:

Why so serious? :)
