"Who's to say where the wind will take you? Who's to know what it is will break you? I don't know which way the wind will blow."-Bono
As usual, I'm sitting here not doing litterally anything on Independence Day!
Well, I'm listening to U2 and writing my Journeyman script and....that's about it.
I'm still very sad about Michael Turner's death and I can't believe he's gone. I'm still expecting to see his covers and stuff but then I have to remind myself....he's passed on.
The weird thing is, I didn't notice it until my mom brought it to my attention but, Michael Turner died the same day that my cousin was killed last year but I don't wanna get more depressed about that stuff than I already am.
So, I started working for the summer last tuesday and the whole thing is going fine so far. I met a really pretty girl named Shonae but I don't know if I'm gonna take it anywhere or not. Remember where that took me last time?
I'm starting to see just how hard taking care of kids (I'm working at a Day Care. No kids for me just yet, buddies!) is. They don't always listen and they like to run around a lot just to have me chase them but it's not exactly punishment. It's not that bad.
Anyway, I don't really know what it is but I've never really celebrated this holiday. For me and my family, this has just turned into an ordinary day out of the year ever since my Dad (Whom is a veteran) left seven years ago. Christmas (Although, I'm far from being a Christian) and Thanksgiving (Although I hate celebrating the day of one of the largest slaughters in history) are just about the only holidays we do celebrate around here.
My Cousin came back from the Military last monday and I got a new Laptop....which is how I'm writing this blog.
Anyway, have a fun Fourth of July everyone!
