I can't even begin to go into how much this movie relates, no IS exactly like my life. Cusack's character, Rob Gordon is....me, there's no other way to say it. There's no other way to go about it.
His memories of all his past love interests are so close to mine, it's really scary. I mean, scary. His talking to himself constantly in his head, is me all the way! His mannerisms are mine!
Some words aren't great enough to explain some things but the only word that can describe this whole thing is: UNCANNY.
I wish there was a way to explain how the things that make this character happy or sad or angry are the exact same things that make me happy and sad and angry.
We're paranoid about the same things and we pick up on people's subliminal shit the same way too. We approach things in the same manner and we view the world in the same way too. I seriously can't explain it.
The way he catergorizes ad listed everything in his life are exactly like mine.
His lonliness and need to figure things are are c'mon....exactly like me.
It's hard to believe that this character and this movie isn't really based on me....!
