U2 = 360°.

"Time won't leave me as I am, but time won't take the boy out of this man." - Bono

So, last night, a dream came true for me after years and years of waiting. I finally got the chance to see U2 live! And my God, they didn't let me down one bit! I don't think that their performance last night could even be considered "just a concert," because it was so very much more than just a show.

The opening act was Muse. They were just as good last night, as they were two years ago when Jason and I saw them together at Madison Square Garden. They truly did change my perspective of what an opening band should be because for the first time in my life, I saw nearly as much intensity from the supporting act, as I did with the main band.

But once the lights shut off in the huge arena of Giants Stadium, and U2 walked onto the stage for the first time of the night, it felt as if there truly was electricity in the air. And in that very moment, I got to finally see my most loved and favorite band of all time.

They played everything from their 80's hits New Years Day, I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, Sunday Bloody Sunday and With Or Without You to their 90's stuff like Light My Way, Mysterious Ways, Mofo, and Even Better Than The Real Thing to their stuff of the last decade like Vertigo, Elevation, Magnificent, Get On Your Boots, No Line On The Horizon, Moment of Surrender, and lastly, my most favorite song of all time.... Beautiful Day.
And to top it off, the band even played two legnthy encores for their adoring fans.

I can truly say that Joseph and I had a fantastic time last night at that spectacular "concert" and it was truly the best live performance of any musical artist I've ever seen in my life. Truly a night to remember; the type of legendary night that a person tells their children and grandchildren, and if they're lucky enough, great-grandchildren about.

U2 justified my many statements from over the years last night.... they truly are the best band the world has ever come to know.

Anyone who was there last night would tell you the same....
