"What a peculiar thing you are." - Lucifer
I had a pretty good day today! Woke up at 9:30 in the morning, showered, got dressed, then hopped the train to City Hall. It all worked out the way I'd intended for it to - all since about a week or two ago.
I went to my old stomping grounds (one of my many former skip spots), bought Supernatural: Season Five, Smallville: Season Nine, and a few other things that I've been waiting to get my hands on. The weather was great all day long, my CD player never stopped spinning the tunes of U2, and my heart filled up like a glass full of water every time I took a long gaze at the blue sky overhead. It was nice.
I came home, popped the latest entry of my "Supernatural" DVD collection into the DVD player, and congratulated my mom on becoming a pratical nurse. Like I said: It really was a nice day. A rarity.
I still need to buy a few other things - maybe I'll just happen to take another stroll back downtown tomorrow morning.
I just hope it's not hot, tomorrow, as it was all last week.... (I hate the heat).
