Montage Series: "Supernatural" Crossovers.

"There's reason for hope." - Sam Winchester

This was the first montage series of it's kind. For about two years, I'd always wanted to do a crossover series but I had a rough time figuring out the ramifications of doing one - that is, up until the idea formed itself in my head to cross over one particular entity with numerous others by connecting all the different storylines together using only one worthy franchise to spearhead the project. And what better franchise to lead the crossovers than my all-time most favorite TV show, Supernatural, which (as fate would have it) is written as an ever-expanding roadtrip?

Most importantly: With this series, I made it a top priority to choose songs that reflected the bond between the shared aspects of which Supernatural also share with whatever other franchise it was being crossed over with in the montage series. In example:

Supernatural + Terminator = Destiny Theme

Supernatural + In Plain Sight = Sibling Theme

Supernatural + Journeyman = Higher Importance Theme

Supernatural + Life = Partnership Theme

Supernatural + Saving Grace = Heavenly/Angelic Theme

Supernatural + Bionic Woman = Reluctant Hero Theme

Supernatural + Rescue Me = Consequence of Heroism Theme

Supernatural + My Own Worst Enemy = Necessary Violence Theme

Supernatural + Burn Notice = Obligation Vs. Personal Needs Theme

Finally accomplishing something which I'd wanted to do for a very long time, this montage series not only added a new aspect to the body of work that I've formed using this blog page, but also further advanced the idea of what my montages might become in the future - all the while, further campaigning my long-held idea of a united universe made up of a good many fictional franchises, contrary to the official position held on the topic (somewhat explained in the first sentence of the second paragraph: HERE).

So without any further ado, this was a very special and remarkable series to work on. Enjoy....
