"All because of you: I am." - Bono
I remember when I first re-started this blog page out of the ashes of it's original incarnation's skin and bones over at MySpace.com and to think that I almost gave up on the whole idea of this thing when the first website was ruined by MySpace's less-than-stellar revamp - about a year and a half ago - it all seems rather ludacris to me now that this page has gone on to become an even larger success than the first one ever was.
One thing that has remained constant to me, when it comes to this little piece of the internet of mine, is that it's kept me humble in a ton of ways. I can truthfully say that I don't do this work of mine for the money, or for the admiration that my efforts may occasionally earn me, or for the eyes that may sometimes find it, or just to merely keep it around out of vain - but I actually do it simply to continue perfecting the artform of montaging, that I love and admire so much, and to pay homage to that small hopeful idea that was formed by my angst-hearted 15-year-old self all those years ago when he wrote his very first blog post in the hopes that someone might've cared for what he had to say.
Since the very beginning, this blog page has been a means of expressing myself in both a creative and literary sense and I'd just like to take this time out to say thanks to all of my subscribers, readers, and to all of the Google administrators who've supported me ever since I initially re-started this thing in November of 2010. This is way more success than what I ever could've hoped for even a year ago. Thanks and much love, guys. I mean that deeply.
