Relativity.

"Nothing ever ends." - Dr. Manhattan

Age and intelligence are relevant: A fifteen year old who's experienced a million different events would theoretically be wiser and more knowledgeable than a fifty year old who's only experienced a thousand.

The false correspondence between age and experience, which many people hold as a dogmatic truth, negates itself when you consider that no matter how old a person is, another person of that same age and standing may very well have a completely contrasting point of view of the world and it's issues.
