"Dredd" was.... awesome. One of the best action films of the year and immensely faithful to the famed comic book series from which it originated from, both in tone and storyline. While it didn't forget that it was aimed to adrenalate, the story also examined the controversial themes of justice and wartime ethics.

While it didn't forget that it was aimed to adrenalate, the story also examined the controversial themes of justice and wartime ethics.
And, to top it off, Lena Headey proved to me once again why she's my favorite actress thanks to her role in this film as the ultraviolent villainess 'Ma-Ma'. Loved it.
