"When you attack one of your own and throw them under the bus, you're no longer of loyalty to that group by any means." - Harvey D. Stubbs
We live in a backwards society that blames the victim. Don't sit back and lead someone on and use them for their resources and time and then throw them to the wayside afterwards, knowing that you never had any intention of giving them a serious chance to begin with over the "bad boy" who you wanted from the start.
A guy goes through that enough times, I can see how someone would get frustrated enough to the point of bitterness and cynicism. Perhaps the issue doesn't lay with the guy for being honest about what he wanted to begin with, but rather the girls who routinely went out of their ways to use or gain something from them to get ahead in the first place under false pretenses.
