Stone's Masterpiece.

I love "Platoon". Great film, powerful message, rich characters.

So many hidden details in it too which one has to find for himself, such as the fact that Rhah isn't truly enlightened or a mystic but he's simply a heroin addict even though it's never explicitly mentioned in the film. Another good detail is the fact that Private Taylor's narration isn't taking place in real-time, but decades later - perhaps in a speech at a Vietnam memorial of some sort.
