I have more to be thankful for this year than any other previous time in my life. I'm thankful for my personal heroes who've inspired me, thankful for the brother who's stuck by me, thankful for the family who've encouraged me, thankful for the friends who've taught me, thankful for the unspeakable levity my life's been afforded by a special lady, thankful for the independence I've gained from my new job, and I'm most certainly thankful for my symbiotic relationship with storytelling which has remained intact and kept satisfied for yet another year. And, of course, I'm thankful for my haters.... they've gained me the constant validation that I've needed to speak my mind at every turn.
I'm thankful for these things everyday, in fact, not just today. But I thank you all for being yourselves anyway. The struggle is what binds us.
