What if life is a facade and we're simply living the lives of those we admired in a past life? And perhaps our failures and shortcomings are simply the flaws we refused to see in our idols when we were someone else.
Perhaps that's the lesson in life: To appreciate our own strengths for what they are instead of stroking the egos of others with our admiration.
