"Some days, faith is all you need."-Matt Murdock
Finally, this exhausting year is at a close.
So much has happened this year. Some good, some bad, some in between just like most gray areas in life.
I'm so tired of 2007 but it has been a year well lived and much needed although it's been so goddamn crazy and chaotic.
Last August, I remember my best friend, Joe telling me about how 2007 was "The Year of Chaos" and how the first part was the 'chaotic' part and the last part would end up as the 'depression' part.
Jesus, he couldn't have been any more correct with that assumption.
I mean sure there were some fantastic parts of this year like, Writing over 24 scripts, Making a few new friends, Meeting Stan Lee, Going to countless signings, Finding my dream girl, Networking with editors and such, etc.
But I mean....I've really never been through so much darkness, Anger, Frustration and overall CHAOS as I have been through this year in 2007.
Between my Cousin's murder, My Mom's stroke, All the confusion earlier in the year, Fighting against my School, Having to continue to fight to be myself, Constantly waking up to my sleep paralysis every other day, Not being able to sleep for more than four hours a night and lastly, dealing with the pressures and hardships of finding a place in the Comic Book Industry....I'm simply tired.
This has been a crazy year and I wish to never live another year as crazy as this for quite a while, if not ever again.
I'm like so stressed from the events that this year has brought but I'm still going to do what I've always done and pull through.
Hell, 2008 is looking promising enough already, especially movie and comic book-wise.
Movies: The Dark Knight, Iron Man, The Punisher: War Zone, The Incredible Hulk, Hellboy II: The Golden Army, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Speed Racer, Jumper, Rambo, Cloverfield and lastly the upcoming James Bond and Star Trek movies.
Comics: TOO MANY TO LIST!

Hopfully this new school that I'm starting at on January 7th will be better than Lehman "Bullshit" High School and hopfully 2008 will bring more promises and surprises for me and a lot of other people too.
It's like my Brother is always telling me, 'Keep your head up and never look back.'
But anyway, I'm really glad that this "Year of Chaos" is all done and over with and in the words of Christopher Reeve, I'm ready to "Go Forward."
I've been through quite a bit this year but it didn't break me.
I've gained more exsperience and wisdom this year and I've kept the good fight of this life going.
This year didn't get me down and out because....
I've got my fist.

I've got my plan.

I've got Survivalism.

Thanks guys! :)
Well, I'm off to read the Ninja Turtles now (Steve Murphy's writing is awesome, Diego Jourdan's art is phenomonal....I highly recommend it, fanboys and fangirls.) so stay tuned until next time!
