Sour Grapes.

"Don't blame me, you didn't get it."-Aaron Lewis

So, I was reading an interview that Moviehole.com had with Robert Downey JR. about his thoughts on The Dark Knight, a few minutes ago and I'm not sure if he was playing around or not or acting as if he was serious but although he is entitled to his opinion and although I like him alot, I'm gonna be honest and tell it like it is: The man is a cry baby.

First, a few months ago, he was all hyped up about all of the latest Comic Book movies which came out this year including "The Dark Knight" but then after the movie beat his (Iron Man) at the Box office, he's all bitching and moaning.

In the interview, he goes off and says that he didn't like The Dark Knight because it wasn't his idea of a "good movie" and that "a person would have to have a college education just in order to understand the film."

But it sounds to me like, Downey is really being a "Downer". In other words, a Class-A: Cry Baby.

The way I see it, if The Dark Knight hadn't beaten Iron Man as the highest grossing film of the year, Downey seriously wouldn't have a damn word to say about the movie. Also, the way I see it, if the tables were turned and Iron Man had won the title of being the highest grossing movie of 2008, Downey would've probably found The Dark Knight to be one of the best Comic Book films ever.

All in all, it sounds like Robert Downey JR. has a serious case of sour grapes to me. If anything, he is entitled to his opinion, like I said but come on....he doesn't have to be a bitchy little girl because another movie upstaged his.
