Bronze to Gold.

"Seas would rise when I gave the word."-Chris Martin

Oh man! I won the Supernatural script contest!

I can't believe it. It's been a while since I first entered that contest but the results finally came in and I was named the winner. I guess my second draft wasn't so bad after all.

I read most of the other entries and I thought they were terrific so this is really surprising to me because I honestly beleive that they were mostly pretty decent.

Either way, the contest judges decided in my favor this time and I got the golden 1 spot this time, opposed to my first try last spring when I got the bronze spot (3rd place).

I'm so happy right now! It's funny just how fast a day can turn around the bend.

From bronze to gold in only a few months, I think that's a big leap.

This is a great event for me, personally. It's the first time I've ever won a first place spot for my writing and it feels pretty good to tell the truth. It's cool to finally win one.

I'm still blown away! It's also cool that I won the contest today, on December 4th, which is exactly a month after Barack Obama's historic election. Maybe it's another sign!
