"The times, they are a changing."- Bob Dylan
It's been an interesting week. I spent last weekend with Jenna in Staten Island.... and I had a fantastic time on both days. It's as if she'd been there for me in the darkest times of my whole life and all I had to do was look for her, and even through all of my days since meeting her, I've been astounded by her in every way possible. She's made me happier than what I once even thought was possible.
On another less-thrilling note, Marvel Entertainment was bought by Disney last night. I'm not happy about that. Not. One. Bit. Just by instinct, I have a feeling, as do many others, that Disney is going to corrupt the history of Marvel in drastic ways. I don't like the fact that Marvel sold out it's fans across the world for the mere buck, and I like even less that it was to a corporation that has a history of conforming it's subsidaries to what they want it to be. Take a look at what they did to Pixar! To me, Marvel was doing just fine without Disney, and I feel very, very betrayed by Marvel especially. They're nothing but goddamn Judas' selling out for four billion pieces of silver!
In regards to film school, the New York Film Academy decided to raise they're tuition just as I was about to finalize my spot in their school from $9,000 per semester, to $11,000 so I won't be attending obviously but my hopes hve not fallen down just yet! It looks like my back-up plan of attennding Hunter College in the spring is going to work out just fine, and at a much less steaper price. So, yeah, I'm happy about that very much to be honest because unlike Marvel, I refuse to sell myself for anyone or anything!
And lastly, but certainly, not the least, I'm soooo very excited about the long-awaited return of Supernatural and Smallville (more so for Supernatural)!
It seems as if things are changing all around me, and I can see it all around just as clearly as it changes. It's really cool and scary at the same time....
