"Shallow Hal" is a very stupid movie. It negates it's own message by portraying the skinny version of Gwyneth Paltrow as the golden-standard of physical perfection in the first place. Same with "Kick-Ass".... perpetrates the idea that superheroics are impossible to execute in the real world, yet it's characters end up contrarily executing those very same feats by the climax of the story. Just a writer's nitpicks, perhaps.
