Domino Effects.

Bret Hart is the integral center of the WWE, simply by fate or the cosmos. Something of higher power, or perhaps, simply just good planning at the very least. We'll never know!

But let's hypothetically take Hart out of the equation for a moment. Let's pretend he never existed: Stone Cold wouldn't have ever had the legendary match at 'Wrestlemania XIII' where Hart put him so far over with the fandom of the 1990's to the point where he instantly surpassed Hart's own popularity, Undertaker never would've had a reason to face Shawn Michaels in the very first "Hell in a Cell" match at 'Bad Blood' in 1997 since the seeds of that feud began in a match where Undertaker faced Bret Hart, and most importantly: There never would've been anyone for Shawn Michaels to antagonize (and by association, no Triple H or Rock; Triple H because of his close symbiotic association to the popularity and career of Michaels and hence, no Rock, because of the vital and iconic career-making feud between himself and Triple H which familiarized them both as independent wrestlers to audiences during the early super-stardom of their careers). Thanks, Bret.
