John Campbell.

John Campbell is why I stopped supporting alot of comic creators and have stopped going out of my way to meet them at conventions. Alot.... most of them are dicks. It's weird for me to say that and equally as ironic seeing as how my main passion in life is to do what they already do for a living but as a seasoned veteran in the culture, I'm incapable of denying the behavior I've witnessed from many creators in the industry which I grew up in since my infancy.

Neal Adams, Fred Van Lente, J.K. Woodward, Peter David, Larry Williams, Jamal Igle, Simone Bianchi (just to name a few): They all suffer from the same self-righteous pseudo-intellectual superiority complex as one another and they're all in it to grab your cash and laugh at you behind your back for being the marks that you are for stroking their inflated egos.

I'm a fan of art but I refuse to kiss ass and stay content as a pawn on the chessboard, the way most other fans are, just to make the lowest of low self-esteemed bottom-feeders who fail to realize that they're not even the biggest fish in the small pond that they call a medium feel good about their underwhelming existences. Nope, I'd rather work on my own projects and keep my hard-earned money in my own pockets where it can benefit me.
